How to render in HDTV 16x9?

-This is only a suggested workflow.

-You don't need to do all this.

-Find your own way to work.

 

Let's begin

-Create a camera

-Check the current camera to make sure the camera is the one we want to see through with and render.

 

 

 

-Open the camera properties

-Change the aspect ration to 9 divided by 16 = 0.563

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Select the Windows\view window

-You do this everytime you need to view what the camera is seeing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Change the resolution and the ratio as seen below.

-The 512x288 resolution is at your discretion.

-Check the "Track always" so that the view is attached to the camera mouvements.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Now your camera view window should look like that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Open the File Renderer window

 

-Set the resolution to your needs.

-HDTV 16x9 resolution are : 1920x1080 ; 1280x720 ; 640x360 .

-A good compromise is 960x540, it's half the 1920*1080.

-Set the aspect ration to 9 divided by 16 = 0.563

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Render Image or Render Animation.
