How to render in HDTV 16x9?
(by Jean-Sebastien Perron)

Note
-This is only a suggested workflow.
-You don't need to do all this.
-Find your own way to work.
Let's begin
-Create a camera
-Check the current camera to make sure the camera is the one we want to see through with and render.
![]()
-Open the camera properties
-Change the aspect ration to 9 divided by 16 = 0.563
-Select the Windows\view window
-You do this everytime you need to view what the camera is seeing.

-Change the resolution and the ratio as seen below.
-The 512x288 resolution is at your discretion.
-Check the "Track always" so that the view is attached to the camera mouvements.

-Now your camera view window should look like that.

-Open the File Renderer window

-Set the resolution to your needs.
-HDTV 16x9 resolution are : 1920x1080 ; 1280x720 ; 640x360 .
-A good compromise is 960x540, it's half the 1920*1080.
-Set the aspect ration to 9 divided by 16 = 0.563

-Render Image or Render Animation.
